The Beginning of Shantanu\u2019s Career<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Shantanu Naidu kickstarted his professional career with Tata Technologies, for which he worked as an engineering intern between 2009 and 2010. Post his engineering, Shantanu Naidu worked with Tata Elxsi as a design engineer from 2014 to 2016. His experience with the Tata Group provided an impetus for his subsequent engagements in business as well as social ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founding Motopaws \u2013 A Milestone<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Through a passion for animals, Shantanu started Motopaws in 2015, a project that seeks to provide stray dogs with reflective collars, thus assisting motorists in detecting stray dogs while driving and avoiding accidents. This passion was driven by empathy, especially since he often encountered stray dogs who were hit by cars while on their way home in the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leadership at Tata Trusts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Upon returning to India from the U.S., Shantanu joined Tata Trusts as Deputy General Manager in 2019, a role that really bolted him into the Tata Group. Based out of the office of Ratan Tata, here he worked closely with him on various strategic initiatives besides helping guide the organization’s approach toward entrepreneurship and social change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Your Sparks and Other Initiatives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In 2020, Shantanu founded On Your Sparks, an initiative to inspire young entrepreneurs and help uplift their businesses and ideas. His focus is on guiding emerging leaders to realize their full potential, especially in difficult times. Another step in Shantanu’s career path was his work as a freelance author for HarperCollins Publishers in the year 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
