Ronak Khatri made his appearance in the Delhi University student community by taking up matters related to the welfare of his fellow university students. He joined the National Students\u2019 Union of India (NSUI) in August 2024 and immediately lifted himself to the level of being the party\u2019s nominee in the DUSU Presidential Election. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In November 2024, Ronak won the DUSU Presidency by polling 20,207 votes, defeating his contender by over 1,300 votes, thus ending a seven-year stint by his student faction. His campaign went viral by targeting both Symbolic Gesture Politics\u2014for example, placing matkas all across university campuses\u2014and taking up legal issues related to students\u2019 needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
